THE INTERNSHIP
Saverio Truglia Photograpy offers internships on a four month rotation to enthusiastic, aspiring photographers. The internship commences the beginning of January, May, and September. The position is two days per week and is unpaid with lunch. Completion of the internship qualifies individuals for paid work in the photography industry. Interns are responsible for a variety of tasks vital to the operation of a commercial photography studio. These include: assisting on photo shoots, talent castings, prop returns, research, image archiving, general production assisting, cleaning the studio and maintaining equipment. Interns get active exposure to the business and art of photography.
During the course of the internship, we invite our interns to propose a project that they would like to complete. This is a photography related project they can work on while at the studio using the resources we have available. Please include a proposal for your project with your application.
Ideal applicants are those who are considering a career in photography, Mac proficient, experienced in Photoshop and Bridge, practiced in digital image capture, and highly creative problem solvers.
